Official Tournament Rules
Following is a description of Official Rules of Play. See Terms and Conditions for more information.
 

  1. Free Tournaments are available to anyone who registers on the Site, creates an account, and meets the qualifications set forth in the Terms and Conditions and in the rules set forth herein and affirmatively accepts these terms of use and the associated privacy policy. The Terms of Use are as follows:

    a. Single Table PLAY CHIP Sit and Go Tournaments are ongoing tournaments occurring in the Card Room consisting of exactly 10 players for poker tournaments and exactly 7 players for Elimination Blackjack. At least one Single Table PLAY CHIP Sit and Go Tournament will be available or in progress in the Card Room at any time. A Single Table PLAY CHIP Sit and Go Tournament will not begin until exactly 10 players register for the poker tournament or exactly 7 players register for the Elimination Blackjack tournament. 100 PLAY CHIPS will be required to buy in to (participate in) a particular Single Table PLAY CHIP Sit and Go Tournaments. The winner of each Single Table PLAY CHIP Sit and Go Poker Tournaments will be awarded 700 PLAY CHIPS and the second place finisher will be awarded 300 PLAY CHIPS. The winner of each Single Table PLAY CHIP Sit and Go Elimination Blackjack Tournament will be awarded 490 PLAY CHIPS and the second place finisher will be awarded 210 PLAY CHIPS.

    b. Multi-Table PLAY CHIP Tournaments are scheduled tournaments in the Card Room that require a minimum of 10 players and have a maximum of 7,500 players (note that these minimums and maximums are subject to change without notice to the player). No additional players will be entered into a particular tournament once the maximum number of players is reached. Entry is on a first come, first served basis. Provided that the minimum number of players enters, a PLAY CHIP Multi-Table Tournament will be held about once every 60 minutes. Players not logged in during the first 12 minutes of the tournament will be eliminated. A PLAY CHIP Multi-Table Tournament will not be held unless the minimum number of players registers to play. 100 PLAY CHIPS will be required to buy in to (participate in) a particular PLAY CHIP Multi-Table Tournament.

    c. Daily $10 PRIZE Open Freeroll tournaments are scheduled tournaments that require a minimum of 10 players and have a maximum of 7,500 players (note that these minimums and maximums are subject to change without notice to players). No additional players will be entered into a particular tournament once the maximum number of players is reached. Entry is on a first come, first served basis. Provided that the minimum number of players enters, PRIZE Freeroll tournaments will be held several times each day. The exact times of each PRIZE Freeroll tournament will be posted in the Tournament Lobby. No Tournament Points are required to buy in to (participate in) a PRIZE Open Freeroll tournament. Players not logged in during the first 12 minutes of the tournament will be eliminated. PRIZE Freeroll tournaments will not be held unless the minimum number of players registers to play. $10 PRIZE Open Freeroll poker tournaments will award prizes as follows:

    d. 30-day Complementary Membership PRIZE Open Freeroll tournaments are scheduled tournaments that require a minimum of 10 players and have a maximum of 7,500 players (note that these minimums and maximums are subject to change without notice to players). No additional players will be entered into a particular tournament once the maximum number of players is reached. Entry is on a first come, first served basis. Provided that the minimum number of players enters, the exact times and dates of each PRIZE Freeroll tournament will be posted in the Tournament Lobby. No Tournament Points are required to buy in to (participate in) a PRIZE Open Freeroll tournament. Players not logged in during the first 12 minutes of the tournament will be eliminated. PRIZE Freeroll tournaments will not be held unless the minimum number of players registers to play. 30-day Complementary Membership PRIZE Open Freeroll poker tournaments will award prizes as follows:

    i. The 30-day Complimentary Membership PRIZE must be validly claimed within 60 days of the date from the date of the tournament. NO substitutions are permitted, and there is no cash value for the PRIZE.
     
  2. Points Tournaments are available to Club members and mail-in (free alternative means of entry) players.

    a. Single Table Points Sit and Go Tournaments are tournaments that run constantly in the Card Room consisting of exactly 10 players for a poker tournament or exactly 7 players for an Elimination Blackjack tournament. At least one Single Table Points Sit and Go Tournament will be available or in progress in the Card Room at all times. 10 Tournament Points will be required to buy in to (participate in) a Single Table Points Sit and Go Tournament. A Single Table Points Sit and Go Tournaments will not begin until exactly 10 players register for the poker tournament or exactly 7 players register for the Elimination Blackjack Tournament. The winner of each Single Table Points Sit and Go Poker Tournament will be awarded 140 Tournament Points, and the player who finishes in second place will be awarded 60 Tournament Points. The winner of each Single Table Points Sit and Go Elimination Blackjack Tournament will be awarded 100 Tournament Points, and the player who finishes in second place will be awarded 40 Tournament Points.

    b. Single Table Freeroll Points Sit and Go Tournaments are tournaments that run constantly in the Card Room consisting of exactly 10 players for a poker tournament or exactly 7 players for an Elimination Blackjack tournament. At least one Single Table Freeroll Points Sit and Go Tournament will be available or in progress in the Card Room at all times. No Tournament Points are required to buy in to (participate in) a Single Table Freeroll Points Sit and Go Tournament. A Single Table Freeroll Points Sit and Go Tournament will not begin until exactly 10 players register for the poker tournament or exactly 7 players register for the Elimination Blackjack Tournament. The winner of each Single Table Freeroll Points Sit and Go Tournament will be awarded 10 Tournament Points.

    c. Multi-table Freeroll Points Tournaments are scheduled tournaments in the Card Room that currently require a minimum of 10 players for poker tournaments and 12 players for Elimination Blackjack tournaments and have a maximum of 7,500 players (note that these minimums and maximums are subject to change without notice to players). No additional players will be entered into a particular tournament once the maximum number of players is reached. Entry is on a first come, first served basis. Provided that the minimum number of players enters, a Multi-table Freeroll Points Tournaments will be held about once every 1 hour. No Tournament Points will be required to buy in to (participate in) a particular Multi-table Freeroll Points Tournaments. Players not logged in during the first 12 minutes of the tournament will be eliminated. The Club will not conduct a Multi-table Freeroll Points Tournaments unless the minimum number of players registers to play that tournament.

    i. For a Multi-table Freeroll Points Poker Tournament, Tournament Points will be awarded to players who finish in the top 10 places as follows:

  3. $10 ULTRA TURBO PRIZE Poker Tournament requires a minimum of 10 players for poker and has a maximum of 7,500 players (note that these minimums and maximums are subject to change without notice to players). No additional players will be entered into a particular tournament once the maximum number of players is reached. Entry is on a first come, first served basis. Provided that the minimum number of players enters, PRIZE tournaments will be held several times each day. The exact times of each PRIZE tournament will be posted in the Tournament Lobby. Tournament Points are required to buy in to (participate in) a PRIZE tournament as stated below. Players not logged in during the first 12 minutes of the poker tournament will be eliminated. We will not conduct a PRIZE tournament unless the minimum number of players registers to play.

    a. $10 ULTRA TURBO PRIZE Poker Tournament requires 10 Tournament Points to buy in to (participate in) it. Cash will be awarded for each $10 ULTRA TURBO PRIZE Tournament as follows:

  5. $10 PRIZE Pot Limit Omaha Poker Tournament requires a minimum of 8 players for poker and has a maximum of 7,500 players (note that these minimums and maximums are subject to change without notice to players). No additional players will be entered into a particular tournament once the maximum number of players is reached. Entry is on a first come, first served basis. Provided that the minimum number of players enters, PRIZE Pot Limit Omaha tournaments will be held several times each day. The exact times of each PRIZE Pot Limit Omaha tournament will be posted in the Tournament Lobby. Tournament Points are required to buy in to (participate in) a PRIZE Pot Limit Omaha tournament as stated below. Players not logged in during the first 12 minutes of the poker tournament will be eliminated. We will not conduct a PRIZE Pot Limit Omaha tournament unless the minimum number of players registers to play.

    a. $10 PRIZE Pot Limit Omaha Poker Tournament requires 10 Tournament Points to buy in to (participate in) it. Cash will be awarded for each $10 PRIZE Pot Limit Omaha Tournament as follows:

  7. $20 PRIZE Elimination Blackjack Tournament requires a minimum of 12 players for poker and has a maximum of 7,500 players (note that these minimums and maximums are subject to change without notice to players). No additional players will be entered into a particular tournament once the maximum number of players is reached. Entry is on a first come, first served basis. Provided that the minimum number of players enters, PRIZE tournaments will be held several times each day. The exact times of each PRIZE tournament will be posted in the Tournament Lobby. Tournament Points are required to buy in to (participate in) a PRIZE tournament as stated below. Players absent for 5 consecutive hand during an Elimination Blackjack tournament will be eliminated. We will not conduct a PRIZE tournament unless the minimum number of players registers to play.

    a. $20 PRIZE Elimination Blackjack Tournament requires 20 Tournament Points to buy in to (participate in) it. Cash will be awarded for each $20 PRIZE Tournament as follows:

Provided that the minimum number of players enters, PRIZE tournaments will be held several times each day. The exact times of each PRIZE tournament will be posted in the Tournament Lobby. Tournament Points are required to buy in to (participate in) a PRIZE tournament as stated below. Players absent for 5 consecutive hand during an Elimination Blackjack tournament will be eliminated. We will not conduct a PRIZE tournament unless the minimum number of players registers to play.

    a. $50 PRIZE Elimination Blackjack Tournament requires 50 Tournament Points to buy in to (participate in) it. Cash will be awarded for each $50 PRIZE Tournament as follows:

  10. $100 PRIZE Poker Tournament requires a minimum of 10 players for poker and has a maximum of 7,500 players (note that these minimums and maximums are subject to change without notice to players). No additional players will be entered into a particular tournament once the maximum number of players is reached. Entry is on a first come, first served basis. Provided that the minimum number of players enters, PRIZE tournaments will be held several times each day. The exact times of each PRIZE tournament will be posted in the Tournament Lobby. Tournament Points are required to buy in to (participate in) a PRIZE tournament as stated below. Players not logged in during the first 12 minutes of the poker tournament will be eliminated. We will not conduct a PRIZE tournament unless the minimum number of players registers to play.

    a. $100 PRIZE Poker Tournament requires 75 Tournament Points to buy in to (participate in) it. Cash will be awarded for each $100 PRIZE Tournament as follows:

No additional players will be entered into a particular tournament once the maximum number of players is reached. Entry is on a first come, first served basis. Provided that the minimum number of players enters, PRIZE tournaments will be held periodically. The exact days and times of each PRIZE tournament will be posted in the Tournament Lobby. Tournament Points are required to buy in to (participate in) a PRIZE tournament as stated below. Players not logged in during the first 12 minutes of the poker tournament will be eliminated.     a. $200 PRIZE Poker Tournament requires 100 Tournament Points to buy in to (participate in) it. Cash will be awarded for each $200 PRIZE Tournament as follows:

  13. $200 NOONER PRIZE Poker Tournament requires a minimum of 10 players for poker and has a maximum of 7,500 players (note that these minimums and maximums are subject to change without notice to players). No additional players will be entered into a particular tournament once the maximum number of players is reached. Entry is on a first come, first served basis. Provided that the minimum number of players enters, PRIZE tournaments will be held periodically. The exact days and times of each PRIZE tournament will be posted in the Tournament Lobby. Tournament Points are required to buy in to (participate in) a PRIZE tournament as stated below. Players not logged in during the first 12 minutes of the poker tournament will be eliminated. We will not conduct a PRIZE tournament unless the minimum number of players registers to play.

    a. $200 PRIZE Poker Tournament requires 100 Tournament Points to buy in to (participate in) it. Cash will be awarded for each $200 PRIZE Tournament as follows:

Provided that the minimum number of players enters, PRIZE tournaments will be held periodically. The exact days and times of each PRIZE tournament will be posted in the Tournament Lobby. Tournament Points are required to buy in to (participate in) a PRIZE tournament as stated below. Players not logged in during the first 12 minutes of the poker tournament will be eliminated.     a. $500 PRIZE Poker Tournament requires 200 Tournament Points to buy in to (participate in) it. Cash will be awarded for each $500 PRIZE Tournament as follows:

  15. 4th of July $1000 PRIZE Poker Tournament requires a minimum of 10 players for poker and has a maximum of 7,500 players (note that these minimums and maximums are subject to change without notice to players). No additional players will be entered into a particular tournament once the maximum number of players is reached. Entry is on a first come, first served basis. Provided that the minimum number of players enters, PRIZE tournaments will be held periodically. The exact days and times of each PRIZE tournament will be posted in the Tournament Lobby. Tournament Points are required to buy in to (participate in) a PRIZE tournament as stated below. Players not logged in during the first 12 minutes of the poker tournament will be eliminated. We will not conduct a PRIZE tournament unless the minimum number of players registers to play.

     i. Players can enter any WPT $10,000 Seat Satellite tournament if they have sufficient Tournament Points to meet the entry requirements, but they can earn only one (1) entry into the WPT $10,000 Seat PRIZE Tournament, regardless of how many times they qualify.
     
     ii. No prizes will be given out for the winners of the WPT $10,000 Seat Satellite Tournaments.
      
     b. Players may enter directly in to the WPT $10,000 Seat PRIZE Poker. Entry requires 500 Tournament Points to buy in (participate in) it.
     
     c. Prize will be awarded for each WPT $10,000 Seat PRIZE Tournament as follows:
     
     Place, Prize
     1st, one $10,000 seat to a World Poker Tour Event (WPT) plus $1,000 in Travel Allowance and two (2) Southwest Airlines travel vouchers. To use the Southwest Airline travel vouchers, travel must occur prior to 12/31/2009 or else they are forfeited from this prize and the winner shall be solely responsible for payment of airline transportation thereafter. If the winner plans to use the Southwest Airline travel vouchers, winner is solely responsible for all costs associated with transporting winner and guest, if applicable, to/from an airport in a city in which Southwest Airlines services. The $10,000 (buy-in plus tournament fee) seat must be used at a WPT sanctioned $10,000 event at one of WPT’s main Season 8 tour stops from August 22nd 2009 – April 24th 2010. We reserve the right to change the date. If winner prefers to play in a WPT Season 8 tournament which has a higher buy-in amount than $10,000, then winner shall solely be responsible for any and all costs beyond $10,000. 
     
     d. Additionally, this tournament will award Tournament Points based on players relative position of finish, as follows:

    e.  Eligibility. The winner of the WPT $10,000 Seat  PRIZE Tournament must satisfy the entrance rules of the WPT tournament itself and the host casino.  Specifically, such rules as to age, and proof of identification at the tournament registration.  Furthermore, in order to be eligible, winner (and guest if applicable) must sign certain standard releases required by us in a timeline specified by us, including, without limitation, a release regarding eligibility, travel and/or publicity; and a player release prior to playing in the WPT Season 8 tournament). The failure to meet such requirements may result in forfeiture of the prize. If requested by us, winners agree via their participation herein to wear our branded clothing for the duration of any applicable TV events and tournament or any other part of the tournament or promotion that is recorded for television.

     f. WPT $10,000 Seat PRIZE winner’s option. The 1st place winner of "WPT $10,000 Seat PRIZE" tournament may substitute in place of the WPT Seat, a one-time cash payment of $2,500. The choice of prize substitution must be made in writing by April 24, 2010, and once made is final. All prizes specified herein are non-assignable and non-transferable. All taxes and any other fees or costs associated with a prize are the sole responsibility of the respective winner.

    Players are reminded to print all transaction data, payment methods and these Terms in order to avoid misunderstandings at a later time.

    If any provision of these Official Rules of Play is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, such invalidity or unenforceability will not invalidate or render unenforceable any other part of these Official Rules, but the Official Rules will be construed as not containing the particular provision or provisions held to be invalid or unenforceable.
